In that case yes westwood will be a bit far. You better go back on bonham road for your snacks needs.

As for the bus 40M can be terrible on morning bonham road get really busy

You could try 91,71 or 7 who will go to central but more near IFC. maybe 4 could be an option too but not sure.
You could also take the 40M up to Bonham/HKU and then switch to the 3B, which goes up Robinson rather than along Bonham.

There are only a few 3Bs in the morning and evening. You need to check the bus schedule.

Difficult getting a taxi during crazy rush-hr morns where you are?

Most probably... can't say for definite, as I've only finally "resorted" to trying to grab one, half-a-dozen times. And oh, don't be too alarmed at just how MEAN or plain resourceful some individuals get, blatantly bumping queues when it's pouring - dog eat dog

Seriously... why not do as Shri suggests? At least for the first week, just get up 20mins earlier and queue for the big bus. (Figure, around 8, might be tricky getting a seat on any minibus as it's usually FULL near the start of its departure.)

About renting DVDs and CDs: Yeah, "Movieland" in LKF is quite well-stocked. Hm... could be a lot better IF they held more copies of the latest releases during peaks... Have fun exploring.

This morning I took bus 40M because I could not find the mini bus stop! Where is the stop for mini bus 55 along pok fu lam road near Haking Wong building?

Not all minibuses use set stops. Try sticking your arm out.

What buses do you take from the Belchers in Pokfulam to get to Central?
