    korean bbq

seems to me there used to be a lot more of these around.

currently, the only one i know of is in TST on Carnarvon Rd.

planning on taking my 3 monsters tonight...but... do any of you know of other ones? don't particularly relish the idea of going into TST if it's not necessary!

    thanks!

The only TST Korean place I can recommend is Pung Won, having been there twice as a Geo meet n great and several times with family.

    Pung Won Korean Restaurant
    G/F 75 Kimberley Road, TST
    T: 2721 8730 or Lee's mobile: 9314 1740

Booking is recommended. The manageress (Ms Lee), is very nice and helpful, if you ask nicely... Every time I've been there - there has been several Korean families eating at different tables. So that, to me, means it's good food and authentic.

thanks, guys! was hoping for more in places like sha tin etc... it takes us an hour by car to get to TST...even mongkok, with the minibus, takes us over an hour...

besides, we've decided that today may not be such a great day for it...tried going to town earlier in the downpour and our village was completely flooded!

There was/is a Korean BBQ place, one shop back from the corner of, Ma Tin Road and Yuen Long Tai Yuk road.

80 Ma Tin Road Yuen Long, phone 2944 3336 to make certain it's still in business, as it has been almost 4 years since we ate there.

There is also a car park to the left of the above picture, which makes it pretty convenient. I know it's not an ideal location, but fairly easy highway driving, once you get onto the free way, toward Tai Po, so should take about 40 minutes.
