    Ok but which is the original non-dubbed version? Would be horribly unconvincing if this was in Mandarin for scenes set in HK and concerning Sun Yat Sen.

    Some months ago I watched http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sparrow_(film) and I must tell you this movie was rather different than your usual HK movie fare and I liked it for it's simplicity and unusual story line.

    In the way, that, for example, Tom Cruise speaks in English in Valkyrie (to pick a random example)?

    Do you insist that the characters in all historical movies speak in the language of the people portrayed?

    If Valkyrie was a German/European film, yes!

    That's Johnnie To for you, the best director ever to come out of HK. Also check out Election 1 and 2, Exiled, The Mission,... Superb stuff.
