I'm a bit of a British, 24 year old northerner (based in Leeds before I came here) i don't quite fit into thee typical hong kong expat scene...
I keep seeing posts about champagne brunches and dinner parties but I'm more of a pub, beer and a chat, game of pool/ poker and watch football kind of guy.
Also, I'm not poor, and not rich either, but i don't really feel comfortable in the really swanky upmarket places in HK. Not because of money but because they make me feel pretentious.
Is there a 'scene' for people like me in Hong Kong, or am I just too damn primitive?!
Thanks,
Joe
