Went for some Thai indulgence the other night only to find it had closed down. Certainly didn't deserve it based on the food and service which were excellent; maybe the location killed it
Anyone know otherwise?

Looks like its turned into a Aussie joint called Wagyu.
And Waaaaaaaaaaaagyu is open now. Has anyone ever tried Zest across the street?
I find it so interesting that so few places can make it on Wyndham st. Even I don't think abt going there and I go out several nites per week.
It just seems off the beaten path I guess.
Wyndham Street Deli / Unclie has been the only one that I can remember having survived the ups and downs. They had decently priced lunch menus.
The Noodle bar used to be great.
Rest of the places .. still doing that field of dreams thing.
I had a Rueben at Uncle Willie once and it was awful.
I just saw a new place called Big Ernies Diner on Lockhard rd and it has a Reuben sandwich listed. It's owned by the Igors group so I think I'll try the place soon.
I had a not bad Reuben at Wellington Deli. Gee...it reminds me of the sandwiches I had in Montreal.... Oh you should try New York Deli in TST.

I've never seen Wellington Deli, where abt is it?
It's on Wellington Street near the escalator, on the south side.
