Spa and other ideas for girls day and night out

    Hi,

Looking for advice from other ladies in HK...

Can anyone recommend a nice (not too outrageously priced) spa for 4 girls for tomorrow afternoon. Somewhere around Central/Admiralty/WanChai or CWB would be good.

In Aus there are spas that cater for hen's groups and girls days out...providing champagne, nibbles and package price for massages, facials etc. Is there anywhere like this in HK?

Also, any idea for fun and different things for a girls/day night out. Something out of the norm perhaps?

    Thanks.

Not too sure about the Spas in Central. Our advertiser Chuan Spa has some packages and if I recall my conversation with them correctly, they'll even send a limo out to pick you up.

There is one I went to in December that does exactly that, parties or hen or girls' day out, etc. The one I went to is in Hung Hom inside a hotel but they have another location in CWB. I can't remember the name of it. Let me look it up and get back to you.

Here we go: www.healinghands-spa.com. They do have one on Jaffe Road in CWB. Can't exactly say it's cheap though. I don't think they have those packages for a party on their menu but I know they do them. When I was there, they were either just getting ready for one or just finished one.

Are the spas here generally clean? I'm concerned that they don't change the water or clean the hot tubs regularly, or sterilize some of their equipment. I had a pedicure once at a spa in a hotel, and ended up with a fungal infection under one of my toenails.

caroline : We can vouch for both SE Spa and Chuan. I've seen the facilities and know the owners @ SE Spa and senior management at Chuan -- good people who take quality seriously. (Never hurts to check again.. given that even good companies can mess up spectacularly at times..)
