I have been playing the guitar for years (but not recently)...my fingers are rusting.

Wanna join a band again and write songs (starting with covers is good though).
Bands I like include Monkey Majik, Buddhistson, Oasis, Evanescence, greenday, the brilliant green, do as infinity,etc.

Good luck on the band. It would be a waste investing so much time practicing with nothing to look forward to. Hopefully the band's got something to hope for. Like exposure...and eventually land a gig.
