Best sport for Macau Grand Prix?

Which stand has the best view at Macau GP?
Is it realistic to do a day-trip on race Sunday from Hong Kong?
    Thanks!

i went to the saturday last year and it was fantastic. Got to see the motorcycling gp which was absolutely amazing (my very good friend, Jimmy332 on here will verify that), and saw the practice race for the main GP. Was in the grandstand right on the start / finish line......I think we are looking to arrange a GeoExpat day out to this next year, so keep an eye on here......Jimmy332, want to try and arrange this together....should be good?

I was at the Lisboa stand last year tight R hand bend at end of straight, fantastic view and wide screen TV directly opposite and beer tent behind, stand was covered as well.......................I was trying to upload some pics but they are to big...................deffo should plan for this year...maybe later Paul and I should start a thread ?
Day trip from HK is easy on fast ferry or even back on the helicopter if your feeling flush !!!

Great! I will definitely be interesting in joining the trip!
Helicopter trip sounds prretty cool. I'll never forget going to see ChampCars and Brands Hatch few years back and the fleet of helicopters that took off carying team owners/sponsors after the race finished - got to experience that at least once! :-)

Yeah I'm down for it, a day trip to Macau sounds really good to me, I kinda miss the crazy automotive atmosphere. Back home on the Gold Coast we have the Indy every year and the atmopshere were always amazing. If Jimmy or Paul is organizing it, I'll definitely be interested!

The 54th Macau Grand Prix will be held from November 15th to 18th 2007. Practice and qualifying sessions will take place on 15th and 16th (Thursday and Friday), with the races on November 17th and 18th (Saturday and Sunday).

Is it on the 15th to 18th of November? If so the tickets are on sale now on the macau grand prix website. I think the chopper ride is around $1800 per passenger, or if you guys prefer to go by turbojet we can get a 4 or 6 person VIP cabin for around $1000 and $1500 respectively.
