I used to go to 798 Unit & Co. in TST before they opened the gastropub in Times Square.

Before: Excellent food at decent prices - Oxtail risotto and lamb shanks were awesome.

After: Decent food at high prices - most of the real restaurant stuff was replaced by higher end pub grub.

In hindsight, I kinda wish they had never opened the gastropub, as it really marked a decline in quality in both establishments.

Enjoyed Frites ... not too sure about the food part, we didn't get past the beers and by then it was mid night..

Was dissapointed though that the fries seemed like your ordinary out of the freezer variety... could be mistaken about the freezer, not mistaken about the ordinary.

Word of warning .. pricey and since they pitch themselves as a restaurant, no happy hour.
