Looking for dramatic types

Hi,

I moved not long ago from Taipei where I organised or acted in plays and skits. I'd like to get back into some drama over here.

I wonder if anyone knows of any groups or troupes who might be having auditions or even individuals who might like to get together to put something on.

I have a fair bit of experience producing something from nothing and some great ideas about shows to put on so if you can point me in the right direction or are interested in getting together to do something, let me know.

I'm an amateur actor, and have done some theatre few years ago, but couldn't continue due to the job, would like to start again, and this seems like a nice opp....had auditioned few weeks ago for a play here, but wasn't selected due to my histrionics or the lack of it .

I'd really like to do something here. I'm used to working in a low level low budget kind of way and actually prefer it.

I did quite a few shows in Taipei [I]Twelfth Night; Entertaining Mr.Sloane; The Maltese Falcon; Withnail and I; The Weir and a couple of local films.

What I've found is that it's best to tailor a show to the cast and audience you have which is why I'm looking for people rather than putting a play out there.

having said that I adapted a version of The Naked Civil Servant which I'd really like to do it would take about 6 people, may be 4.
