G'day Nastynate,
A couple of idea's that are not bar centric, as bar life gets pretty old after 6 months, especially if bar life wasnt part of your recreational ideaology prior to moving here..
If you want to get out there and enjoy some new personal development skills, then I'd suggest joining a yacht club as a junior member, learn to sail, as most weekends will have something on to keep you busy.
The good thing about 32ft and longer craft, is they need crew of 4 or more people. One of the best ways to make very strong friendships, over the bar associations that you are probably getting a bit tired of etc. .
HEBE HAVEN YACHT CLUB ia one of the most affordable yacht clubs in HK, just for the example. Aberdeen might be worth a look, RHKYC might be a bit out of the budget, but certainly one of the best clubs globally if you get the sailing bug.
The Hong Kong aviation club is another fantastic club, where you can either learn how to fly a helicopter from the Kowloon Bay hangar location, or learn to fly a plane, a high wing , recreational series Cessna, from the Shek Kong Air strip.
Welcome to HKAC

Another interesting adventure sport is Paragliding, a lot tamer than base jumping and wing suit flight, great to see that HK actually has an association. > HKPA - About us
