What happened to Two Door Cinema Club?!? Did they drop out from the line-up?

We're so disappointed to learn that Two Door Cinema Club (one of our main reasons for going to the festival!) will be unable to make it to Clockenflap this year, due to illness. Apart from Clockenflap, the band is also canceling their Asian Tour.

The band released the following statement via Clockenflap Facebook:

"We're absolutely gutted to have to tell you that we have to cancel the following shows: Urbanscapes Festival, Clockenflap festival, Bangkok, Manila and Taipei. We never cancel shows and normally we would struggle through any
illness to play for you guys but unfortunately Alex is suffering from an acute form of laryngitis. We tried to give him as long as possible to rest his voice but it's clear that there is no way that he will be able to sing for the next week at least.

We're honestly so disappointed that we will be cancelling our long overdue trip to Asia but we need Alex to be able to sing for us to give you the performance you deserve."

We wish Alex a speedy recovery - get well soon!

Hi Cwb,

A silent disco is basically where everyone wears a set of headphones and dances to the music streamed directly to them. So, to an innocent passer-by, it looks as if they're dancing to no music. It looks pretty funny - you should try it!
