Covered BBQ Area

Marinated a whole bunch of chickenwings in anticipation of the holiday tomorrow but the weather looks crap.

Thinking of going to a covered public BBQ area and still having our BBQ while watching the rain but I cant think of any that are covered....Are there any covered ones?

You can rent ones in Shek O for about 200/300 dollars (that includes the coal and the mesh etc). Get there EARLY though

You can actually call and reserve your spot. No need to get there early

we have tied a ground sheet up in the trees over the BBQ pits at Tai Hang Tung in CWB Country Park...does the trick...

Reminds me of BBQs back in England....outside in the cold and rain, huddling under umbrellas saying "we WILL barbecue dammit!". Happy memories! (and I genuinely mean that).

Was planning on going to clear water bay beach tomorrow with the kid then I read the weather report last night, cloudy with Occasional heavy rain and squally thunderstorms. Looks like another day sat at home and becoming a key board warrior
