    Memories of China Jump nightclub

Does anyone have any memories of the China Jump nightclub in Causeway Bay they would like to share for a novel I am writing.

The things I am particularly interested in are:

    - The precise location
    - How the place was decorated/fitted out
    - The people it attracted
    - Types of music they played
    - Anything else you can remember!!

Any information would be most welcome. Thank you.

ah the China Jump Bar, knew a few people that used to work there. They had a dentist chair where people would lay back and the bartender would pour tequila and some mixer into your mouth directly. I heard the footballler GAZZA visited this bar as well and went on the famous dentist chair. PM me your email address and I'll send your contact detail to my friends that used to work there. One of them was the bar manager back in 1994 - 1997.

Ah... the dentist chair. Given how trashed most people got in that place, I'm not sure how many stories people will remember Good luck though- that was a fun place.

I'm sure all you boys remember Wed ladies nights. And the Orgasm drink the bartenders loved serving.

i used to like the booths that you had to climb the ladders to get to. you had a pretty good view of the whole place.

i had a friend that used to work there...she'd get over $1000/night in tips!

If you're in Hong Kong see if you can find Gary Stokes - he was one of the bartenders who stayed around. He's involved with one of the Discovery Bay restaurants now.
