    Best non-IMAX cinema?

    Looking for the non-IMAX movie theater with the best (nice big) screens and sound system. Comfy chairs a plus. Thanks!

    Cinema City JP in Causeway Bay (formerly MCL JP) has the biggest screens on HK Island and has brand new projector, sound, and seats. Also still quite reasonably-priced at 100 HKD for 2D adult ticket.

    Has anyone been to the IMAX 12-Channel cinema at MegaBox? Comparable / better than Dolby Atmos cinemas?

    I haven't, but we might end up going to see Blade Runner there next week...

    @merchantms The Grand Starsuite is great for comfy seats but not a big screen.

    I'm all about comfort so I go there or to the new Oval Office at UA Pacific Place.

    @shri

    Pricey but you can chomp your way through a fair percentage of the ticket price at the buffet and some of the snacks are lovely (deli meat, assorted nuts and jelly beans amongst other things)

    The concierge will even take your cash and go and buy you concession items they don't have, such as the hot dogs, etc. and deliver them right to your seat.
