Red face Anybody knows where can I get a good vocal coach?

Hi guys, I need your help.
I have always wanted to learn to be a singer, or at least, a passable singer (I sing really badly), but the vocal coach I used to have was terrible.
She will never teach you the technique or anything basic about singing. She just tells you to sing one song agter another. So after a year, I just can't take it anymore and calls it quit.

If it's possible, would you guys named some good vocal coach(or some good singing lesson) that would really teach you the real stuffs needed for a singer? Thanks!!!

You can try Mario Bernardo but a bit expensive.I suggest you discover your vocal range first. Are you soprano or alto? then try listen to songs that suit your voice range, the type of voice you have. Like are you for ballad type, pop rnb or rock.Sing songs that you really think is easy for you for the meantime.Don't drink iced, don't eat sweets and spicy especially before starting your vocalization and practice. It will help you for a start.

Hi Beth, I want to thank you for the info. However, I really don't know which vocal range I'm in. I guess I'm a Contralto because it's easier for me to sing in lower tone, but sometime, like on some good days, I can sing some high notes pretty well(imo). So I really don't know about it. I try those vocal range finder video on Youtube but to no vain. So I really don't know about it. Is it possible for you to give me some advice on it?
    With much love,
    Elis
