Lots of remakes coming out, but one of the more exciting ones for me is, Dune ! One of my all time fave 80's Sci -Fi movies.. Quietly hoping that what's released is every bit as the good as what Denis Villeneuve's has said, that this will be, Star Wars, for adults.. Fingers crossed

I look forward to that too. Denis Villeneuve is a good director. The movie could be promising.
Speaking of the David Lynch movie though, that actually departed from the source material quite a bit. Not that differences from the original novel is necessarily a bad thing, since film and novel are different medium requiring different approaches. Still, part of the Lynch movie came off somewhat weird and disjointed because of studio interference. And Lynch himself has distanced from the movie. The visuals were great in that movie though, no question about that.

Like the rest of the FF franchise, Hobbs and Shaw has ridiculous over-the-top action scenes, nonsensical plot and absurd characters...and I enjoyed it very much. Unlike the other FF entries, there is a certain "buddy" appeal to this movie. The Rock and Statham shares an onscreen chemistry that just works really well here.

Just watched Peterloo with a runtime of 154 mins about 1 hour too long. Atrocious editing.

It really is just a documentary on what is happening in Hong Kong now
