Yeah, I heard John Wick 3 director Chad Stahelski alluded to this earlier (Chad was the stunt double for Keanu in the Matrix series). Although truth be told, Matrix 2 and 3 were really rather subpar in quality compared to the original. I am not holding too much expectations for this coming sequel...

Finally got around to watching the new Disney Aladdin movie streamed in HD with the kids on our big screen at home and must say we really enjoyed it. They did an excellent job, making it better than the animated version IMHO, a vastly better result than what they managed with The Lion King !

I also had a chance to watch, Rocketman which I also found was pretty good also, maybe not quite as good as Bohemian Rhapsody, but certainly up there.

Best film I have seen this year. Kang-ho Song is masterly as he reprises a down on his luck type role (If you haven't you should also see A Taxi Driver - 2017) in a brilliantly complex family. Passes the 9 laugh test with ease and it's not even a comedy.

Anyone anticipating the release of Terminator - Dark Fate? There's this whole bunch of 90s kids - now in their late 30s and early 40s - I know of, who are patiently waiting for it. I watched T2 when I was still in nappies and later became its number one fan although 11 years later too late. .

You are being generous. The second and third installments of The Matrix were horrible.

Love the idea of a 62 year old Sarah Connor kicking ass.

Wanted to watch 'Anna' went to watch 'Anna'

The latter is how a lazy teenage boy would want a movie made. Too much violence whilst wearing stockings from a super model assassin.

A hammed up performance from Helen Mirren but Luke Evans and Cillian Murphy were both believable in the handler / lover roles. Lera Abova (who) was appalling as the unnecessary lesbian love interest.

Hard to believe the same team that brought us Léon: The Professional

Not a movie but that new miniseries "The Spy" on Netflix was really gripping.
