Oliver Chan's highly anticipated debut feature brings together Hong Kong-based Filipina actress Crisel Consunji and local legend Anthony Wong.

Consunji has been living in Hong Kong since 2008, first arriving to perform in Hong Kong Disneyland’s High School Musical Live! Born and raised in Manila, she studied and worked in musical theatre starting at the age of ten, but holds a master’s degree in political science, completed just before the call from Disney.

I was going to put this on the last helper thread but it got closed so apologies for going off topic on this one. Sometimes people have asked what the pay for a helper is in the Philippines so I checked.

It varies by region but in my region the legal minimum is:

2017 HKD 300 per month

2018 HKD 600 per month

2019 HKD 690 per month (forecast)

In addition the employer has to pay:

13 month bonus
SSS (government pension)
Philhealth (health insurance )
Pag-ibig (government mortgage and loan scheme )

The employer is also expected to allow time for education.

Whether these conditions are obeyed I don't know.

From what little I know of it, this is pretty much just a local remake of Intouchables, following the American remake released a couple of months ago called The Upside, right?

Very accurate depiction of HK cultural dynamics IMO. Great acting jobs by everyone IMO.
