so i am male, asian expat, mid 30s and potentially single soon...

due to previous family commitments i have not really been out and about meeting people around hk (obviously)

so the simple question is , and i hope it does not sound creepy, is where do people go out these days to meet singles around town? not wanting anything but only to meet interesting / friendly people and hang out and have fun if theres such a thing?

I think this is ok if the OP says he just wants to make friends and meet interesting people. Just make sure you and the other person have the same expectations. If you both go into it with your eyes open and aim to be friends first (romance may develop later) then you can meet some nice people.

Hong Kong is a paradise for single guys. That's the main thing I learnt after a few months in this beautiful city

Would you like to meet females or males or both females and males? (I cannot assume in this world of political overcorrectness) Laws of attraction are universal but where you could meet males looking for females or males looking for males can be quite different.
