    In fairness that’s more due to government attitude and rules than to anything else. If they wanted they could have opened schools on 1 Sept and manage the situation - like many other countries do

    Yup they could have but by now, it should be obvious that there's a low tolerance to risk here so when people act selfishly for their own pleasures, it puts more important things like schooling at risk. As to managing with schools, it's far from perfect.

    Yup they should have long before now; it should be obvious that there's an irrationally low tolerance to risk here so when people act with a more realistic one, its utterly spineless to suggest that it's not the fearful local attitude that's to blame.
