Is it like a Korean version of Grey's Anatomy + Friends?

My Name starts off quite slow -- lots of fight scenes. But the story line really picks up (still lots of fight scenes) and there was quite an interesting depth of characters developed. No handbags. Thanks for the recommendation.

(I didn't quite understanding the ending -- was a new identity taken on? Brown hair and all...)

It's not a series but ' last night in Soho ' was brilliant

Here are a couple of K/J shows that I've watched over the last year or so...

Chief of Staff - Political drama...

    Korean Designated Survivor

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQd4Wnd1Es

    and

Scams - Japanese show involving a good guy who gets into the phone scam racket. Available on Netflix .. cannot find a good trailer for it.

Designated Survivor 60 Days is pretty slow... were they on a tight set budget? Because it just seems to be "scenes in a bunker meeting room" and "scenes from a ground zero tent" and lots of old men talking or even shouting. And the main character takes ages to make his decision... After two episodes, does it pick up? Should I keep at it?

Scams.... It also seemed kind of slow, focusing on scenery and shouting and not moving the story very quickly... Gave up.

There is a fair bit of political intrigue and cynicism about the state of the govt in this show.

A little bit .. by a small margin... more entertaining than watching slow product placement scenes of drinking coffee or eating pizza.

I'm currently watching this Indian show ... may be 15-20 mins at a time. Dark .. cheap special effects..

Well, I worry I didn't quite "get" a few of the hints about some of the characters in the first episode, so when it's revealed that it was secretly those closest to those in power all along, I guess it won't be very surprising... Anyway... Agree about product placements, but find myself actually craving some handbags.

Designated Survivor has some cheesy high end watch placements.
