A few friends have been discovering Korean TV shows... personally have found them just weird enough to enjoy for quite a while., The scripts / plots, (over) acting and more than often a complete disconnection with reality are brilliant for the vegetative mind.
Watch Squid Games a while back and the Mrs who dislikes gory shows enjoyed it.
What are you going to watch as a follow up?
My choices are "My Name" and "Alice in Borderland" (Japanese show).
My Name Trailer - there are a few disconnects in the plot but nothing serious if you're in a Korean TV series frame of mind. The action is spectacular - Tarantino style.

If you enjoyed Squid Game, give Alice in Borderland a go. Its a similar sort of theme where they play weird games and die if they lose. Also season 1 was released nearly a year ago and they are filming season 2 now, expected to be released in a few months, so if you do like it wont have to wait a full year for the next season
