Karaoke

We are a group of french expats and we would like to go out for a karaoke this week.
Does anyone know a good place where we can find english or/and french music ?

well, u can try new way karoke box but dun think they hv french song.

New Way is a karaoke chain which has spreaded around HK like a plague :/ It's the 7-11 of the karaoke industry.

Ask any taxi driver and they will take you to the nearest one.

Party's over? Well, just for your future reference. There is a great one in Causeway Bay Sugar street, The Newway CEO. They have a few party rooms for 2x-3x. Each room has a toilet. But you MUST book and ask the charges carefully.

is karaoke expensive in HK - i mean, im sure for what it is it will be, but is it silly money?

My gosh. French Karokee. I don't think so. Not much in HK. If you get enough French people requesting, you can get some owners of Karokee bars to have some French songs. But heck, why don't you just buy a Karokee machine or a DVD machine with French Karokee on it. Get a Mic then just sing. Just get somebody to offer their house or apartment for the night to sing. I mean how many people sing French first? You can dinner buffet with Karokee. I don't think it is that expensive though in HK. It is reasonable.

I went Karaoke in New way the other night. For about $100HK each, we had the room for 7 hours. The priced included some food and drinks.

If you go before 10pm, there's a free buffet too, I believe.

There ain't a great selection of English songs. I don't remember seeing French either.

There are three karaoke places in Windsor House (Causeway Bay). 4 friends of mine paid 100/person, and got this amazing room that could have held 15+ people.
