Watched the film Four Trails the other day. Wow what an amazing, uplifting documentary. It's about a group of people running and hiking the four long-distance trails (almost 300km total) non-stop in nearly three days. Totally mental.
But it's a lot more than a hiking docu. It dives into each of the characters and what drives the to sign up for such an enormous challenge, how they prepare for it, how they overcome (or not) adversity.
Then there is unbelievably good footage about Hong Kong's nature, trails and excellent drone footage. Incredible and better than any advertising for getting tourists to HK.
No spoilers but guaranteed a very inspirational, uplifting film without being cheesy. Absolutely worth watching including setting a great example for kids on how to set oneself challenging goals.
Highly recommended. Screened in Broadway cinemas across town.
