What do single people do alone throughout their day?

I was born in HK, living in Canada for the past 15 years and will be moving back to HK soon. Will be living in service apartment in cwb alone. I have some friends in HK but most of them are working and are living with family. SO that means most of the day time I'll be alone, and night time I'll be... alone... maybe the occasional dinner with a few friends. And I'll be job hunting toooooo.......

That sounds incredibly depressing!!!!

What do single people do alone throughout their day? I'd hate to stay in my shoebox as I am already a pretty depressed and stressed out person. Can't imagine staying at home alone day and night and day and night job hunting online.

So what do people from overseas do alone throughout the day? People that have no family and no spouse no bf/gf and just a few friends that are probably busy most of the time.

And if the thought of being single and unemployed in Hong Kong is too depressing, perhaps you should rethink your plans.

But what do people like me do? There has to be some people who have personal reasons as to why they had to HK without getting a job first. Do they walk around alone? Go shopping alone? Hide in the house? Watch TV all day?......

I'm not single but unemployed.

If you really want to find a job here then you don't have much time during the day to worry about being alone as you'll be looking for work. When your not looking for work.. get out and see the sites, lots to do here.. I've been alright so far.

Also.. there are lots of people who do meet and greet's during the day so you can go and join them.

Plenty to do, just takes a bit of iniative and forward thinking.

while this is supposed to be an advice forum, to ask "what should i do with my time" is a little too general and not very constructive. if u cant figure out that much on your own, youre gonna be bored no matter where you are.
