    YO R und H

actually the reason the RT gang has been quiet of late, is that we have just woken up.
A General Health Warning for all GEOPATS-Never Ever Ever Go To A DaiPaiDong with GF
GHW Number 2 If RT is like this on a week day- advisable to avoid it like the dengue fever on weekends
GHW Number 3 Girish informed all and sundry that this was the most he had every had to drink- AND we went looking for milk after-go figure
GHW Number 4 Girsh has informed all and sundry that there is another chappie also called Girish waiting in the wings- may the gods help us

pity we did not get areound to the pigeons

Thomas gave sterling support and ferried most of us back to civilization in his robust MB coupe.

GF has theatend to return to RT(which only had one barmaid for gawking porpoises) and do a review.

right off for a bloody mary

Some members of this forum hung out at the Railway Tavern last night.

It was eventful to say the least, beginning with one of the said individuals (of german origin) confusing Tai Wai with Tai Po. He was driving around girlie bars in Tai Po in his Mercedes Benz (CLK) hoping to find the Railway Tavern, so there was some considerable delay in his getting to the watering hole and some nail-biting, "will he won't he" excitement till the very last. And the evening ended with a near-brawl between the same burly German and a shrewish Canto waitress at a roadside snack bar near the Tavern.

Well, to cut to the chase, the Railway Tavern was a surprise package. Uncomfortable stools padded with geriatric Brits sporting thick grey moustaches, plaster peeling of walls crammed with framed sepia prints of historic trains chugging smoke, embedded black iron signs warning patrons that the penalty for "transgressing" into the railway line is 40 shillings, a men's loo where you are literally forced to peep into each other's arena and wonder whether "his is bigger than mine" , railway signal lights and petromax lamps in every corner, ... you get the drift.

The atmosphere was pleasant and straight out of the railtrack pubs in Sussex county and you could almost expect a mighty old Union Jack locomotive to pull in any moment, complete with Guards waving green flags. The owner looked as if he's been pulling pints since the very early days of the British Raj. The customers looked comfortable and very much "at home" There was a yellow Lamborghini Diablo parked next to the pub. The name of the lane was Chik Fuk.

For the record there were three brews on tap and one barmaid. And also for the record, one of the evening's participants was last seen roaming around that part of TST which is crowded with nightclubs sporting pink neon signs and names like "Club venus"

All in all, a great fun evening ! Girish, I hope you got your milk !

    not bad

not bad at all for someone who spent last night at RT(i understand that mine host had to pull quite a few strings and pints to get the lane named Chik Fuk

I forgot to mention Polly , and am surprised to see that GF missed out on her as well- a most amiable bitch.

GF kindly call girish and find out if his wife let him in lst night
