I was hoping to celebrate my birthday sometime early-to-mid December with approximately 30 guests. Anyone know anywhere reasonably nice on a student budget? Music / open bar / (semi) formal? Any suggestions?

It doesn't really matter to be honest... I'm on Kowloon side but my friends mainly live on HK side.. So it really doesn't matter.

Do u prefer nightclubs/ bars?
As i know not much nightclubs in Hong Kong side would do openbar.
If u prefer nightclubs wif openbar, i would recommend Fevar in Lan Kwai Fong. Openbar till 3am mostly wif dj n dancefloor.
