If you're interested in No Limit Texas Hold'em you can go to Whiskey Priest, 12 Lan Kwai Fong, Central, tel: 2869 0099, where they have poker night every first Thursday of the month. I haven't been myself. Starts at 8pm upstairs, is free to enter, beginners are welcome and the winner of each table gets a bottle of Jameson Whiskey. Happy hour until 9pm.

Considering it's illegal to gamble in HK, apart from the Jockey Club's Mark 6, horse racing and football matches, I very much expect them to give you chips to bet with.
