Seems you're in the correct region, the way they said thank you doesn't seem to match farsi but azerbaijani however the numbers match farsi perfectly so that's probably it.

At first I thought it was Armenian but the numbers are all farsi with a bit of a funny accent.
It could be Gilaki, Kumzari, Parya or Balochi which are all related to farsi and use the same numbers...
No matter, its definitely not Arabic...
And this one is a strange find I didnt know about:

BTW HC, the welsh numbers you have jotted down in your post, sounds a lot like hindi numbers, which are -
ek, do, teen, char, paanch, chche, saat, aath, nau and dus.
