I responded with the answer... and some advise about when NOT to send a PM
I even have it on my profile, asking people NOT to send me random PM's unless they are actually "friends" (or the equivalent of that on here, regular posters who don't spend their entire time dissing every post I make).

Not weird but the thread reminds me of a sad one. Got a PM some years back from an expat who was dreaming about getting a motorbike, so I gave him some advice on how to go about buying one. A week later, I read that an expat had drowned during a dragonboat event. Well, that was the guy that just PM'ed me about getting a bike..
