    Buying a Starbucks is only optional if you fancy a seat there. In the one I’m in I’d say less than 50per cent in this one. No doubt they bought one before?

    It's actually one of the great annoyances of visiting Starbucks here. I've bought a drink more than once and then can't find a seat. You do sometimes see people just sat in them in Britain too, but it is nothing like here or in the Mainland.

    Pacific Coffee in Langham Place (now closed) used to be absolutely awful for this. At times, I bet less than 10% of people sat there had actually bought something. No wonder it's now shut down.
