    I wonder about the effect of the explosion on the host galaxy... would radiation expunge all life in an entire galaxy? ...and if you are smart enough to know it’s coming... where you gonna go? The nearest galaxy is probably a few million light years away... a long trip.

    ~ The explosion occurred in the Ophiuchus cluster, which lies about 390 million light-years from Earth ~

    [ 1 Light-Year = 9.46 Trillion Kilometres ]

    In comparison Earth - Sun = 149,6 Million Kilometers ( average distance ) Takes around 19 years a Boing to reach the sun ( forget the heat and everything else like fuel etc. for a moment )

    Yeah and it happened 400 million years ago... enough time for life to begin again in that galaxy.
