call me a sceptic, but were they ever going to 'not find' water?!? Yes, we've spent a shit load of dosh yet again, flown our space tractor thing all that way, but actually we were wrong, bugger all there. oh well.
Next we find out that 70% of Geoexpat posters are actually from much further away than they claim......
KIA...perhaps its time for Cosmoexpat?
Maybe in another couple thousand years...if we don't kill ourselves before which is doubtful.
I've just read that China, South Africa and Russia have formally criticised Zimbabwe at the United Nations for the first time. I find that far more surprising than water on Mars...
Does Zimbabwe have any oil?
Not in any great quantities that other African nations have. It does however have a large amount of fertile land. The breadbasket of Africa etc. etc. Rising food prices anyone? Biofuels?
Hopefully it's a case of economic realities being faced that perhaps it really is time to try and get Zimbabwe into some sort of order and attempt to get their previously very productive farms back on track...
Not that there seems to be a competent replacement for Mugabe waiting in the wings.
Haliburton will now be announced as the preferred contractor to extract it in a fulling competitive tender with other Martian registered companies.
