Premium Teas - Have you succumbed

Is it all packaging or does it really taste that much better?

    Any you would recommend?

I'm a sucker for Russian Caravan Tea. Worth a try.

Please stop called fruit infusions "tea". They are not. Tea is tea.

If it doesn't contain camelia sinensis leaves, it's a tisane, not a tea.

I think there is a huge difference between real tea leaves and tea leaves crumps, aka Lipton

Agree. These are very expensive flavoured water.

But most of these premium Tea companies are based around tea.

Although given that many of the 'luxury' brands or owned by mass market beverage companies it does just look like a grab for cash from the vane.

But you really should use the British Standard for tea making to appreciate the difference

Bushells, PG tips. I abhor the teabag. these teabags made with "100'% recycled paper" taste exactly like I'm chewing on the corner of the SCMP than drinking in the flavour of the leaves. So, I prefer either the synthetic bag or loose leaf. As any self respecting traditional Aussie tea drinker would. Both my grandparents would boil in the billy on the fire. My mother in law loves drinking fruit flavoured black tea - not my favourite.
