That's just hilarious (in a very negative way). Do they seriously have no idea how this comes across???

Do you seriously think Blackface toothpaste or a guy getting whitened in a washing machine is racism ?
Oh the horror, the injustice, the oppression.

Its culturally insensitive sure, but racism....nope.

Not racism? Come on HC, if the same type of ad were posted and an Islamic guy was thrown in the washing machine, I'm quite certain you wouldn't take issue with calling the ad racist.....

Racism is believing one race is superior or inferior to another, and clearly this ad implies that.

How do you know the religion of the black guy in question?

    Sure, sure.
What does the blackface on the toothpaste signify?

The point being : These things are distractions. When there is real racism all around us (yes, Hong Kong is one helluva racist place), I find worrying about things like these as waste of time.

Here, have some arab & bomb videos. They are hilarious and no, I dont think they are racist.

Ok, so you have backtracked to admitting the ad is racist, but it is a distraction? Not sure what your point is to be honest. The ad is blatantly racist. End of story.
