So living where we do, we walk through a heck of a lot of weddings taking place in the club house. And yesterday (as previously) I was really struck by the outfits being worn. I'll skip over the bevy of bridesmaids in puke green outfits, because it's well known that some brides do horrendous things to their bridesmaids, but what really struck me was the blokes. All in pretty smart looking dinner jackets and bow ties. And all in white (or mostly white) trainers! They looked ridiculous. So - is it my fashion sense or is this really as bizarre as it struck me!

White trainers are trendy these days.

    I blame Bruno Mars.

Please guys, lets not go back to the 70s again. It wasn't a good look.

OK. I have to say I was pretty much laughing out loud at them walking past. I guess I'm just an old fogie

Saw a load of Vietnamese students wearing similar for their graduation photos in Hanoi last week.

The girls were in traditional Vietnamese dress, the guys in white shirts, bow tie, suspenders and trousers which didn't reach their ankles, along with the white trainers.
