    I've seen/been worse in my short but diverse experience. I've had juniors shiver just upon my descending from the floor above and getting the chair next to them. I could never fathom their reaction/over-reaction and mind you I never raised my voice during meetings and all. Anyways, it was back then , about 8 years ago, but now the tables have turned as been regularly visiting psychiatrists for months now. The point is, no matter how hitlerish you could ever be, subconsciously or otherwise, time will definitely get the better off ya.

    Sounds like a pretty typical communication for a sales-oriented organisation - some of the staff are clearly a bit sensitive or feel like they have been wronged in some way (probably the ones without "money on the board").
