Rubbish. We are lauding the hard working and innovative nature of the Nigerians. We know all those lazy white US rednecks would never bother to actually come up with something this impressive. Totally anti-racist.

thanks, yes I'm a racist, but a rational one I suppose.

    Let me explain.

I'm racist towards each and every one , no matter the race, who is a hypocrite, liar and especially those who are selectively subconsciously racist towards certain races. Read me post again , by mentioning greedy bastards, I didn't imply that to any particular race because they are in all races as it's human nature.

In fact, I'm in awe of such scammers, in a way, as grammatical mistakes or what, they are tremendously effective from time to time.

Honestly, i don't think the supposedly 'nigerians' innovated much.
I have received postal proposals of lotteries wins and dead relatives account claim since the early 1980s. They really came in letters with stamps. Cant remember which country did the stamp came on but as a primary school kid then i was actually fascinated by the proposal and wrote back to one of them.

I think we have to give innovation awards to the chinese one rampant on Wechat these days.
So far i have heard of:
    - obviously the london gold bucket shop
    - penny stock peddler that tries to get you to buy the shares from their syndicate
    - tea sellers where the grandparents are sick in hospital and they are selling their highly valued tea

At least they come with different stories and is multi media supported, with photos and graphs and account details of their customers making money!

    We need to innovate!

A recent spam mail I got said they have webcam recordings of me watching Porn and if I dont send them money they will share my video to all my contacts / family etc. I LOL at the email as I dont even have a webcam attached to my PC but I bet it will scare the shit out of ppl that do and there will be bound to be someone who will pay money and get scammed.

I got that one too - but it had one important thing in it.
The subject line had one of my very old passwords that I had used in all sorts of places in years gone by.
Obviously they did put a bit of effort into the ruse since they had my password from somewhere....

This seems to be a 2018 scam variant (I first read about it a couple months back). There are huge lists of passwords out there from old hacks (off memory the Yahoo hack a couple years back had hundreds of millions of passwords leaked?) and scammers just use email address + password in their scam mail.

well engage brain before using poison pen and you might learn something
The 419 (advanced fee) scam originated in Nigeria
There were so many cases that it became the 419 scam named after the relevant section of the Nigerian criminal code
In recent years approx 61% of the 419 scams originated from US servers and 16% from UK servers with China having a growing number
Nigeria has 520 languages and 60m Nigerians speak English or some form thereof, like 'korrupsion'
