A Chinese-built replica of the Titanic will set sail from Dubai in 2022
The $500 million ship, which will be built in China, is set to make its maiden voyage from Dubai to Southhampton, U.K in 2022. The Titanic II will then embark on global routes, starting with the exact path of the original ship, traveling from Southampton to New York, minus the small detour to the ocean bottom, presumably.

They could load it onto a bulk carrier. The Titanic was tiny compared to modern day cruise ships

Although im wondering if they are confusing the two stories and the one that will actually set sail from Dubai isnt being built by the Chinese at all.

Titanic II: China is building a replica Titanic called Romandisea Titanic

What's the point? The lifeboats will be made in China too.

No need to worry though. They’ve also built escalators to get from deck to lifeboat.

I’m putting bets on now on the first iceberg ever seen in the Indian Sea in 4 years time

This will be laid out in the Indian Ocean. After the Titanic passed they will be declared Chinese territory.
