    Black Rainstorm issued

The HKO has issued the black rainstorm warning. This is like T8 in the sense you don't have to get to work so long as this warning is up. Although it won't really last that long usually. So maybe you can chill at home and take an extra cup of coffee before the warning is taken down and you have to go to work.

When I left for work around 8:00am it was red. Now they issue the black warning just as everyone is arriving at the office. Bastards!

Why do they still close the stock exchange when they haven't had an in-person trading floor for years? Other electronic services don't stop...

And I was wondering about the drought in HK not so long ago, the heavens decided to teach me a leson now.

P.S-Now I heard the road-turning-into-rapids is in Lantau actually, not Pokfulam, sucks if you are in Tung Chung or Mui Wo I guess.

In the morning, a fatal car accident occurred under red rainstorm in Sheung Shui. A minibus was suspected to have slipped out of control on Tianyu Road, shoveled the pedestrian way, rushed into the grass and hit a tree and turned over. The driver was unconscious and was sent to the North District Hospital for emergency treatment and died. It is reported that the driver lost consciousness after climbing out of the car on his own.
    Spotted in local media ...
