Cambodia without the Chinese would be great. Without the locals pestering in and around Siem Reap it would be even better
We used to have these almost every Saturday in Hong Kong. There was a branch in Jordan I used to walk to and pick up three takeaway bowls. We adored them and had been waiting for then Tokyo branches to open ever since the acquisition was announced.
My wife was queuing on the opening day and has already been three times. The menu selection isn’t quite as varied as in HK but the broth and the taste are identical.
Very much hoping they start offering takeout and delivery soon….
Last place I went to was Koh Rong CNY after Covid emerged. PNH pales into insignificance once youve been to Sihanoukville. The entire town was a building site being turned into a Casino City targeting the mainland. Pretty much destroyed any of the onshore resorts there.
Sidenote, I only found out there were direct flights just before I was leaving HK (trip was booked at short notice) Hair raising taxi both ways from PNH for me, but nowhere near as hair raising as a 5 hour minibus from Puerto Princessa to El Niño
Wow, I went to Cambodia and Koh Rung in 2013. I've heard the Chinese developers got their hands on sihanikville. It was kind of a shit place, but I'll never forget the rural experiences we had in a basic bungalow surrounded by nothing on Koh rung.
Any where in Europe
