It is seasonal weather and though not as dry as last year more than welcome to replenish reservoirs. I love a good storm as well and it makes the daily steps more interesting.

The reservoirs on HK Island were already at capacity even before today's rain.

not sure what reservoir you are referring to but High Island reservoir is still at record lows as of last night when I ran over the dams.

The ones on HK Island - Aberdeen Upper and Lower, Tai Tam Upper and Lower. Of course, those are all a lot smaller than High Island.
