Sadly for me I got a bit of a cliché overdose with this....I tried to get engaged with it, but it's...just too much flat one-sided characters, with the disbelief suspensor constantly engaged...

BBC's Boat Story, has been a pretty good watch so far, another crime show where two strangers find a fishing boat washed up on the beach late one night and discover that it had £10's of millions with of cocain on board, instead of telling the authorities, they take it all. Pretty good Psycho Frenchman who was financially responsible for the shipment and him looking for whoever took it. Only watched two episodes so far but I like the quirky back story chapter narraration, and it's another pretty solid watch.

    Pretty good

I'm late to "Station Eleven." Four episodes in and it's riveting. Eerie how timely this was - They started making this just before COVID. Good to see Lori Petty on screen. After Tank Girl, she kind of disappeared.

The Railway Men on Netflix is pretty compelling, great acting too. Based on the events of the Union Carbide Gas Leak of 1984 in Bhopal.

Binged the entire series I have to say - it's the most satisfying TV I've watched all year. Wife had to bail at episode 4/10. Too dark for her. I get it. Some of the scenes depicting the early part of the pandemic were too close to home.

Found this while rearranging some things . . . The zenith of the cartoon medium, imo was reached with Rabbit of Seville and What's Opera, Doc?!

Rather enjoying The Brothers Sun. Being Netflix I wasn't expecting much. But it has plenty of rather well choreographed fights, and some winks to the old Jackie Chan movies and humor style, I'd say. Of course, it also has some plot gaps...But I'm finding the characters quite charismatic and well acted.
