    this lift is "sanitized".....

    how many hours?

since the pig flu, have seen this everywhere. it also seems to be a competition to see which lift gets sanitised (sorry, i can't bring myself to calling it by the American spelling) the most.

what is the lowest you have seen?

to date mine is every hour.

question is, do they really actually sanitise the buttons every hour?

In theory yes . . . I know where I work they do it because I've seen them.

I know a family of four which lost the plot during SARS. So since 2003 one of the party is designated button pusher plus door opener. So they will leave the lift single file and wait for the one with the wad of tissue to hold the door ajar.
And this has been going on for six years.

The plastic on our lift close button has worn through so your finger gets stuck in it. My eldest daughter always lifts the plastic sheet up to press the buttons showing a pleasing disdain for rules and instructions.
