No, left wing politicians come up with more sophisticated solutions to crisis, and try to explain why 1) less taxes, 2) less government, 3) less regulations won't work. The problem is that right wingers are only able to understand silly slogans, like Obama socialist (without knowing what socialism means) and have a concentration span of 6 words, hence 1) less taxes, 2) less government, 3) less regulations.

Why do you think we Europeans (who have a much better education than you Americans) don't keep talking about less taxes and less government? We don't see the government as some evil thing that is out to get us, and we understand that if we want the government to do stuff for us we have to pay taxes. Besides, right wing politicians spend more money that left wing ones. They just borrow the money instead of raising taxes. Unfortunately American people are too badly educated to understand that borrowing money is not very different from raising taxes!

And neither side understands the difference between "less" and "fewer", obviously.

The irony of a Republican politician having to remind herself that "tax cuts" is their core belief hasn't escaped Stephen Colbert:

Colbert: "Sarah Palin Is A F--king Retard" (VIDEO)

Surely the definition of politician is someone who believes that they - and only they - have all the right answers? Doesn't matter which side of the fence they're on.

Sarah Palin wants to give the image of being someone who says what she believes in, whether this is popular or not. A no-nonsense woman who says how it is.

Which makes the fact that she has to list her favorite keywords and peak when she is asked "so what are the most important things you would do if you were president?" bloody ridiculous.

Right, since neither the conservatives nor the liberals (in the US) have figured out how to actually cut spending, we do not really know if cutting taxes and spending works. It is an untested theory. I think this is because financial conservatives (in the US) tend to not be as conservative in the areas that primary voters care about (abortion, gun-control for instance).

The problem with the whole US system is the primary and the gerrymandering of districts. End up with too many extreme politicians from both sides.

However, you are saying the same thing you did last time--all liberals are wise, philosopher kings and all conservatives are not and will never be. And now you have expanded to 'all Europeans' are better educated than 'all Americans'. Which is merely reflective of the entire liberals as philosopher kings attitude.

But now that I know you are European, I'll just stop. You keep your way and we'll keep ours and I promise not to go around complaining about your system. I really do not understand why Europeans get all worked up about US politicians, even the unelected/unelectable ones, and TV networks/personalities. Most Americans could care less about Europe/Europeans. (I know, most Americans could not identify Europe on a map and would place it in the middle of the ocean, next to Texas.)
