OK, so when some one mocks you, you "like" it ironically? The trouble with that strategy, Mr. English, is that you have to have displayed a little bit of intellectual nuance for anyone to believe that you would be capable of understanding the irony. Sorry, but I've yet to see any evidence of that.

No, only Americans think you have to be clever to understand irony and that's only because they don't understand it.

Why wouldn't he? I've done the same. Sometimes the taunts can be quite amusing and well drafted. Often, unfortunately, not.

By the way, why is it a stupid question? Ai wei wei was doing something for china, so if anything the question is relevant.

Mat, I appreciate that you are a sincere guy, but attacking everyone on the thread by implying that talking about Ai Weiwei was somehow useless is not helpful.

I certainly agree that you aren't very clever.

Talking about him is not useless of course not

what bother me is the level of infantil (not necessarly from you) comments that actually pollute what could be an intereseting debate.

Really a shame for China that they cannot even detain him for the proper reasons they arrested him and use these pretenses instead. Really feel for his family.
