    January 8 Primary Election

The democrats will conduct a primary election on January 8. This primary election will elect either Albert Ho Chun-yan, Chairman of the Democratic Party or Frederick Fung Kin-kee to run for the post of CE. All Hong Kong residents may vote in this election.

I cannot find much in English about this yet. If you are eligible to vote, will you vote? Who for?

Why would you waste any time or effort caring about your 'vote' in a totally non-free 'election'?

    Good question.

The democratic candidates are giving everyone the opportunity to chose which one should run for the 'election', which is more than the other two main candidates are giving the people of Hong Kong. So, in that sense I think it deserves support. Also, I think the establishment is against it, so that's another reason to support it.
