Should Sir Donald be plain old Donald

If Sir Donald Tsang is impeached should he also loose his knighthood?

When the heck did he get a knighthood ???????

Why does every head of state end up getting impeached (ok over exaggerated) but that is all I hear.

Look Mat, I think this is a serious question. Jacques Chirac is being investigated for alleged corruption and he will be known as a disgraced ex-President if he is found to have acted inappropriately during his tenure as Mayor of Paris.

Question, since you're here - should Donald Tsang Yam Goon be impeached, should he then also be stripped of his Knighthood, Golden Bauhinia Award, Grand Cross from the Ordre National de la Légion d'Honneur (in the case of Chirac) or whatever gear he's got up on his trophy shelf?

It depends on what Beijing want to do with him.

I really, really, really don't care. I would think that decision would rest with whoever knighted him, as it reflects more badly on them than on me. That said, there certainly have been quite a few disgraced knights over the years, so this would be nothing new.

As to the second question, as they say, power corrupts...

He should have "handed" it back when he was appointed CE.

Anyway, Donnie will be out of a job in less than a month. Certainly not enough time for him to be impeached. Plus the previous CE left under a whopping big cloud; Beijing won't like that happening a second time, not with a dodgy new one coming in. Can't have people thinking that Beijing isn't able to pick a good 'un.
