Is Ai Wei Wei a dumb-ass? Doesn't he get that he can be done for assault? What does that carry in China these days? 80 years without parole?

Also, it was interesting to see in the video how one of the pro-gov twerp's buddies used the (bent) telescoping handle of his umbrella (waving it around near other people's faces) to try to intimidate people.

I agree with Dreadnought about AWW being foolish getting captured on video laying hands on someone.

AWW, sort of materialized out of nowhere, so this doesn't apply to him (he didn't go after umbrella handle warrior anyway), but I personally would find someone waving an umbrella handle in my face extremely hard to tolerate.

Neither did I, but just showing up could be enough to land Ai in hot water.

You can see from the crowds reaction to AWW that it is easy to see why the nations leaders feel he could turn into some sort of Wat Tyler and lead a failed revolt against the state.
